Pilates is body-conditioning method which targets deep postural muscles building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and helping to bring it into correct alignment, gaining the perfect balance between strength and flexibility. Pilates classes involve a mixture of lying, seated and standing exercises which can easily be adapted to take into consideration physical limitations and injuries. 1-1 sessions tailored to specific requirements.
Yoga is an ancient form of connecting the mind and body together via poses. Using movement to build strength and flexibility, challenging balance, increasing well being and calming the mind. Working on focus and time for yourself you will learn various techniques via the breath to connect whilst holding poses. Hatha Yoga is slow and suitable for beginners. 1-1 tailored to your requirements.
1-1 Pilates Mat Sessions
Weekly 1-1 Pilates sessions in Andover are available for those who don’t feel a class environment is right for them. Everyone has their own reasons for 1-1 lessons and it could be you are new to exercise, recovering from an injury, you like personal treatment, want to improve self-esteem or want to get results quicker with the 1-1 focus. The sessions are tailored completely to you and your posture type / requirements for lasting results.
1-1 Pilates Reformer and Equipment Sessions

Working on a 1-1 bases we would look at sports, hobbies, habits, work repetitive movements or posture, injuries, imbalances to bring the body back to balance with a programme that is tailored to your needs.
1-1 Yoga Sessions
Focus on yourself totally with 1-1 Yoga sessions tailored to your bodies requirements. Stretching for injury rehab, relaxation, mastering poses, flow or focus. Yogi’s choice.
Pilates Large Equipment Circuit Classes
Weekly Pilates Equipment sessions available. These sessions include a wide range of large Pilates Equipment including the Reformer, WundaChair, Bosu, Half Cadillac as well as all the small equipment too. A maximum of 4 per class working on a circuit style format.
12 week Post Natal Course
Post natal is an important time in every women’s life and every pregnancy and birth are different. I run an individual post-natal courses based on 1-1 assessments and a unique individual program. The 12 week course offers three 1-1 sessions and a plan unique to your body. There is no specific start date and we work together around you and your baby – either with or without them with you. Working through all different elements from Pelvic Floor, activation of correct muscles, functional exercises, postural exercises and building gentle strength to help you in your new Mum role.
Mat Pilates and Yoga Classes
Weekly classes are available in blocks of 5-7 weeks at a time following school terms to encourage development. Class numbers are kept to a maximum of 10 so I can monitor individual needs and offer any necessary support. Every lesson is different and I pride myself on offering variety of equipment, movements and exercises so the classes remain fresh and interesting. Classes are suitable from beginners to more advanced participants.
Pilates has mixed ability and specific over 50’s class. Yoga is taught as Hatha Yoga and suitable for begineers.
